Your Role
 
Stockport MBC has an exciting paralegal opportunity within the Planning and Highways Legal Team.  You’ll work within a friendly and supportive team of five colleagues, in a supportive environment where your professional development will be nurtured and appreciated.
 
The main role of the paralegal is to support the team of five colleagues in various areas of local authority law relating to Planning and Highways. The successful candidate will be required to support the planning and highways team with assisting on a variety of matters across the organisation which will include but not limited to; drafting enforcement notices and traffic regulation orders, dealing with Rights of Way matters, assisting with S106 planning agreements and S38/S278 highways agreements, as well as undertaking research to assist with providing legal advice.
 
About You
 
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to learn and develop at pace. This role will be very hands on and will allow you to gain invaluable and varied experience within a large organisation whilst being autonomous with your own matters.
