Your Role

We require for September 2024 two enthusiastic, dedicated and dynamic Teachers of deaf children and young people (ToDs) who have a passion for improving the lives and outcomes for deaf children and young people. We are seeking someone who has ideally already completed their mandatory training as a ToD and has some experience, or is currently on the final year of the mandatory training course.

This role will be a balance of peripatetic working in educational settings and homes in Stockport and in the sign-bilingual primary and/or secondary resourced provision setting for deaf children/young people.

About You

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from ToDs who have early years and/or deaf resourced provision experience, also from those who have experience working with deaf children and young people who have additional complex needs, although this is desirable rather than essential.

About Us

Successful applicants would be joining a warm, friendly and successful team with close support and guidance from both colleagues and the Team Leader for the deaf children and young people team.
