Your Role 
 
We are looking for experienced and skilled Personal Assistants to join our team supporting members of our Senior Leadership Team.  We are an ambitious council, and our Senior Leadership Team is at the core of this ongoing transformation and are critical in achieving that ambition.  
 
About You
 
You will ideally have PA experience in the public or private sector supporting Senior Officers of a similar level with the ability to work independently and pro-actively. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential personal support. You will also work collaboratively with other PA’s across the Council. 
 
You will work closely with management at all levels within the organisation and partner agencies so you must have the ability to build strong effective working relationships and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
 
Some of the key activities include:
 
• providing comprehensive and confidential personal support to Senior Leaders.
 
• Being the first point of contact for anyone wishing to see or speak to a Senior Leader.
 
• Managing calendars and meetings including organising, attending and minuting meetings.
 
• Anticipating and address the needs of Senior Leaders
 
• Advising the Director of impending work deadlines and commitments and direct all reports through the appropriate governance channels
 
• Being responsible for the upkeep of equipment and devices used by the Senior Leadership Team.
 
• Proofreading strategic documents and documentation to be put in the public domain as required.
