Transport Organiser at Transport For Sick Children

Transport for Sick Children is a Stockport based children’s charity set up in 1977. We transport children to medical appointments from all over Greater Manchester using our team of dedicated volunteer owner drivers.

We are looking for a part-time Transport Organiser to join our small, friendly and committed team. The main duties of the role are to allocate appointments for families in need of our help to our team of volunteer drivers, so a confident while caring telephone manner are a must. Attention to detail, great organisation and experience of decision making under pressure are attributes we would welcome.

Contract Type: Temporary contract – 6 months (renewable)

Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12noon – 4pm with flexibility to cover for other team members

Salary: £8.78 per hour

Location: Transport For Sick Children Offices, Suite 338 Third Floor, Broadstone Mill, Reddish, SK5 7DL
