LITIGATION LAWYER 
14 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (dependant on start date)
3 days per week until 31 July 2021
4 days per week from 1 August 2021 

Salary MB4: £37,890 - £43,857 Pro rata to hours worked

This post will require an experienced and confident litigator and advocate to join a friendly and busy Litigation Team. There will be regular advocacy in courts, tribunals and possible attendance at Licensing Committee. 

We are looking for candidates who can provide high quality legal advice to all Directorates and the Council’s ALMO which will include: 


All regulatory enforcement related work, including trading standards, environmental health and licensing matters. This will be the main aspect of the role so experience of regulatory enforcement will be essential.

Anti-social behaviour work, civil claims and general advice. Experience in these areas is not essential and this aspect of the role is to support the team during busy periods. 

The post holder can work flexibly and the team will continue to work regularly from home.
