We are looking for 2 people to join our Social Care Charging Team in the Revenues & Benefits Service based at the Council’s main civic buildings complex at Stopford House in Stockport.

The posts are both full time, 37 hours per week and fixed term up to 30th May 2020.

The main purpose of these posts is to carry out or assist with the processing of financial assessments for service users of Adult Social Care services in order to establish what they should pay towards the cost of care services, and in some cases arranging for invoices to be raised to collect the charges. The post holders will also be expected to do work on helping us move to a new IT system from March 2020.

Ideally we are seeking applications from people with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills who can prioritise their workload and work to deadlines. We need candidates to have experience of working with standard office IT applications including Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to do data input to IT. We also need candidates to be able to work as part of a team.
