Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level D) – Whitehill Primary School
Salary: £11.19-£12.35 per hour – Actual pro rata annual gross salary - £17,702.77 to £19,545.29
Salary Grade: Scale 5 NJC 12-17
Working Pattern: Part time term time only + 5 INSET days
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary Post (for 1 year)

Whitehill is a forward-thinking school that places the academic, personal and social skills at the heart of everything we do. The school was judged by Ofsted as Good in December 2018. We are looking for 2 HLTAs to join our well-established team in order to support our pupils in their learning following the recent school closures. This role will involve supporting in the classroom, differentiated teaching, covering classes (including PPA) and leading interventions/catch-up. These roles are for 1 year only in line with government funding. This role would suit a highly experienced teaching assistant or a recently qualified teacher looking to gain school experience before embarking on their teaching career.
