A fantastic opportunity to gain a role within a small, supportive multi-disciplinary team. We have a base in Oakgrove School, Heald Green but work with Primary Schools across Stockport to support children’s emotional health and wellbeing. As a school-based term-time service we take referrals from schools where there are concerns regarding a child’s mental health or emotional wellbeing.

As a child and family worker you will hold a case load of children with emotional health difficulties and work with school staff, parent/carers, and children to identify drivers to the presenting problems and use bespoke interventions to target these. Interventions take place within school, home, and community settings.

Candidates should have an experience of supporting parents and children and be familiar with working alongside education colleagues.

We would welcome applications for Part Time working or a Job-Share
