Temporary Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Salary Grade: Scale 3 ( £6667 -£6800 pro rata)
Salary: point 5 - 6
Working Pattern: Part time, term time
Working hours: 15 hours per week, term time only 9.00 – 12.00 Monday to Friday
Contract type: Fixed term – until 31/8/21

The role is working as part of a dedicated team with children with Special Educational Needs in our resource provision.

You will:
• Enjoy working with children with complex needs.
• Have the skills, knowledge and experience to support children with physical needs, autism and learning difficulties.
• Work well with other staff and agencies.
• Be well motivated, have a positive attitude and be emotionally resilient.
• Have the ability to work in a 1:1 situation and to teach small groups.
