Salary – Scale 4, £13987 – £15140 (pro rata)
Valley is an outstanding special school which caters for nursery and primary aged pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties and autism.
We wish to appoint two teaching assistants who are:
· Child-centred in their approach
· Sensitive and patient in their dealings with children who have significant special needs and who may, at times, present challenging behaviour
· Knowledgeable about, or interested in, working with children who have autism and or profound and complex learning and physical difficulties
· Flexible and versatile
· Committed to their own training and development
The successful candidates will be based in a class with up to 8 pupils.
Ongoing training is provided within school for all staff.
