Temporary Teaching Assistant / Midday Assistant - Vernon Park Primary School
School Support Staff

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed temporary Teaching Assistant to support children with specific difficulties and to support teaching and learning activities across the school. Experience of delivering intervention programmes, Read Write Inc, is desirable.

The successful candidate will also be required to carry out Midday duties and undertake the supervision of children during the lunch break. The role includes supporting children with hygiene in preparation for their lunch, supervising children, whilst they eat their lunch and helping younger children. A key part of the role is the ability to supervise the children in their play and being able to manage a class during wet play.

Although the post is temporary until 28th July there is the possibility of extending the contract further.
