NURSERY NURSE – Charnwood Nursery Heaton Moor

Temporary Post to cover maternity leave and staff absences until July 2020

Charnwood Trust has a vacancy for an experienced Nursery Nurse. Charnwood is an outstanding nursery school and family centre run by a Christian Trust, with Investor in People accreditation, and the Leading Parent Partnership Award. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring nursery nurse, with at least a level three qualification in childcare (NVQ level 3, BTEC or NNEB).

One third of our children have special needs. Experience of working with children with SEN could be an advantage. All appointments are subject to the usual employment checks including enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.

The successful candidate should be committed to excellent practice, have a sound knowledge of child development within the Early Years Foundation Stage and, like all of our staff will be in sympathy with our ethos.

The hours are: 8.45am until 4.00 finish, 5 days per week, term time, plus some additional hours for planning and training sessions.
Charnwood has an Incremental Salary Pay Scale for nursery nurses, ranging upwards from £8.58 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience.
