Teacher for  2 days in Year 1

The post is temporary, to cover for a maternity leave and is available from 1st October 2018

Moorfield Primary School has a maternity leave that will become available again during autumn 2018 as the teacher currently covering has secured a permanent post elsewhere. The role will be to teach 2 days per week in Year One, job sharing with another colleague up to beginning of March 2019. The pay scale will be dependent on experience

 

We are looking for a creative and imaginative primary practitioner who has experience of working in a primary setting and ideally would have some experience of working in a job share. We have 2 classes for each year group and the successful candidates will work closely alongside a year group partner as well as their job share partner.

 

If successful you will be joining a very strong and effective team. It is very important to us that you are a team player with great communication skills. A ready sense of humour is also a prerequisite to working here.

 

We are looking to appoint someone who is a gifted and flexible teacher with an enthusiasm and passion for teaching. Moorfield is a really popular school and a great place to work and as such we do attract the very best.

 

• Maternity leave required from 1st October 2018 (if possible) to 10.03.2019

• Part-time and temporary

• Evidence of outstanding practice and a passion for teaching is essential.

• Pay scale MPG dependant on experience
