Vacancy for SEN Teaching Assistant
2 Year fixed term contract
Hours per week -30.25
Salary – Scale 4, pro rata
We wish to appoint a teaching assistant who is
· Child-centred in their approach
· Sensitive and patient in their dealings with children who have significant special needs and who may, at times, present challenging behaviour
· Knowledgeable about, or interested in, working with children who have autism and or profound and complex learning and physical difficulties
· Flexible, versatile and enthusiastic
· Committed to their own training and development
The successful candidate will be based in a class with up to 8 pupils.
Ongoing training is provided within school for all staff.
Please be aware that this post is not open to job share.
