Midday Assistant

 

7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, part time, term time only.

Njc Scale 1 pt 1 £9.25 per hour (£3,079.57 per annum)

To start as soon as possible, initially fixed term to 31st August 2022 due to funding.

 

Tithe Barn Primary School is seeking to appoint a self- motivated Midday Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team responsible for the care and welfare of children at lunchtime. During the lunchtime period our Midday Assistants support children in the dining room and supervise them on the playground helping them to engage with activities and games.

 

Previous experience is not essential, but candidates should have the ability to form a caring and professional relationship with children of primary school age. You need to be able to work closely and flexibly within a team.

Tithe Barn Primary is a caring, positive community school looking for dedicated midday assistants to join our successful team.  Although this role is initially until August 2022 it is highly likely that this will be extended. The school has a rich history of high academic and social achievement and is full of opportunity for future development and growth. The purpose of these post is to provide effective supervision of children at lunch time.

 

Our midday assistant will have:

 

·       Experience of working with children

·       Good behaviour management skills.

·       Have the ability to administer simple first aid.

·       Enthusiasm and flexibility in their approach.

·       Effective communication skills.

·       Experience of being a team player.
