The Headteacher and Governors of Bradshaw Hall look to appoint a caretaker/site supervisor for the maintenance of our school buildings and grounds. Bradshaw Hall has an outstanding reputation and will provide the candidate with a great job opportunity within a close and caring Community.  We are looking for a real team player with a passion for ensuring that the grounds and buildings are clean and safe for our amazing children and School Community.

The candidate should have experience and be skilled with fixing/maintenance and have leadership skills to communicate across the estate management team and the wider community.

 

Salary: Scale 4 Range between point 18 to 21 depending on experience and skills

Grade: Depends upon qualifications and experience

Working Hours: 37 hours

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: Friday 21st September 2018

Start date: November 2018

 

Interview Date: To be agreed

 

Your working week is 37 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday. Working hours will be discussed on request. There is potential for flexibility for the correct candidate.

This is a 52 week contract, holidays can be negotiated both during term time and non-term time

The successful candidate will:

·       Be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness of designated areas in the building.

·       Have excellent handy work skills

·       Work to tight timescales and is flexible in approach

·       Be able to work independently using initiative and as part of a team

·       Be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of staff

·       Be diligent with paper work and the inspection of premises and have knowledge of Health & Safety at work

·       Ability to recognize the importance of ensuring a secure and safe environment

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check against the child workforce.
