Business Support has an exciting opportunity available as Hub Manager within the Boroughwide and Safeguarding Hubs.
In this role you will have responsibility for various teams supporting Stockport Family which can include Children’s Social Care and other boroughwide/safeguarding services dependant on deployment within the structure.
As a Business Support Hub Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direct line management of various officers including managing Team Leaders and directing their portfolio of work within the Hub reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
You will be a hardworking, flexible individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, solving problems and making decisions/recommendations to meet the needs of our service.
Duties include directing officers and teams working tasks to ensure we meet service requirements and statutory deadlines. You will collate data for statutory returns and play an integral part in developing system processes to improve data quality. You will actively drive for process improvements and efficiencies and take a lead in developing Office 365 ways of working.
The successful candidate will need to balance an operational ‘day to day’ workload as well as play a key role in working and leading on core projects.
You will be an integral part of the Business Support Management Team promoting and meeting our values, you will support/lead on key projects within the business plan and manage your team with a positive attitude, leading by example and adhering to HR policies and procedures.
Experience of managing a team or working at a senior level is essential. You will receive support and training from your Line Manager and colleagues within the Senior Management Team.
