Adoption counts is a new Regional Adoption Agency delivering adoption services to Trafford, Cheshire East, Stockport, Salford and Manchester. We are at the forefront of national developments in adoption and aim to deliver excellence in recruiting adoptive families, finding families for children and in the provision of adoption support. We have 2 vacancies offering successful applicants the opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic service and to be involved in shaping the new service as we move forward. 

We are also looking to recruit  an adoption support social worker 0.5fte who will join a  region wide adoption support service, primarily based in Wythenshawe but also with travel across the region.

Both post holders will be employed by Stockport Council.

You will be passionate about pursuing best outcomes for children, and will enjoy working across teams and services to build excellent working relationships. With an understanding of adoption and court processes, you will work along side children’s  social workers, providing expert help and advice.
