Safeguarding Board Performance and Development Manager

Stockport Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic manager to lead the Safeguarding Partnerships in Stockport.  The successful candidate will have a history of working in child protection and be keen to influence change across the system and to improve outcomes for the residents of Stockport.

Stockport Council has developed the integrated Stockport Family approach, which is firmly founded in restorative practice and working in partnership with our families.  All our partners are invested in working together to deliver excellent support to our residents.

The key responsibilities of the Manager are to:
* Promote the smooth and effective functioning of the safeguarding partnerships and their sub groups.
* Ensure effective safeguarding communication and publicity across services and for our residents.
* Enhance performance management to ensure effective safeguarding scrutiny.
