SCALE 2 POINT 3
HOURS ARE STRICTLY:
 MONDAY – FRIDAYS : 8.45 AM TO 3.15 PM (3 days per week to be negotiated).
17.5 hours per week, TERM TIME ONLY
Flexibility around the start and finish time will be required.
Start date :-January 2020

Have you an interest and awareness of the requirements of children with special needs?

We have 65 children on roll, including 2 year olds and 3-4 year olds. We are an inclusive Nursery and have many children who are based within the resource base.

We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to work within a large team at Hollywood Park Nursery School. This will be an exciting opportunity for practitioners to support young children in their development of their personal skills including toileting and maintaining hygiene standards. 

The role will involve: 
organisation and supervising appropriate Early years Foundation Stage activities indoors and   outdoors 
Supporting children within a small group or on an individual basis or on a withdrawal basis. 
To provide support for children with physical needs eg assisting with moving around the Nursery, assistance with feeding, assistance with changing, assisting with safe use of Nursery equipment.
To maintain a high quality environment 

There will be an opportunity for interested candidates to have a tour of the Nursery, this can be arranged by contacting the Headteacher on 0161 480 3913.
