At Nevill Road Junior School we are a TEAM. As our school values state, ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dedicated and effective Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will work across the school covering PPA/Leadership time, and also working with groups of children.
We are looking for self-motivated HLTA who is confident with the demands of the curriculum, planning and assessment procedures and have the ability to work in partnership with parents, work as part of a team, contribute to planning and deliver group activities.
We want someone who is able to:
- Embrace our ethos where individuality is respected and celebrated, allowing all staff and pupils to feel valued for who they are.
- Be committed to inclusive and restorative practice where all children are given the opportunity to share their unique perspectives and feel listened to.
- Bring creative qualities and experiences to the school in order to inspire both pupils and staff to be the best they can be.

- Demonstrate through their practice, and in line with the HLTA standards, their professional knowledge and understanding; professional skills including planning and expectations; monitoring and assessment; teaching and learning;
· The ability to work flexibly and under own initiative;
· Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and commitment to ensuring children are safe and well at all times.
