Salary Scale 4 £18,070 - £20,138 pro rata

MOSAIC Young Peoples Drug & Alcohol Service is seeking to recruit a part time (3 days per week - hours to be negotiated) permanent Peer Mentor Support Worker. MOSAIC is a specialist multi-disciplinary service offering substance misuse treatment and family work for children and young people up to aged 25yrs and families.

The post will be responsible for providing full support to the Mosaic Peer Mentor Programme. The Peer Mentoring Programme is delivered in conjunction with Stockport Continued Education and accredited by Ascentis.

You will be jointly accountable for delivering the work in conjunction with the Mosaic Peer Mentor Lead and ensuring that the programme is delivered to a high standard meeting local objectives and targets.

You will have knowledge and understanding of the issues associated with substance misuse and mental health, with the ability to empathise with those in recovery.

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau.
