Front Services Team Leader - Stockport Family
 

Stockport Family are seeking to recruit to a Team Leader role within Stockport Family. The role will be responsible for Stockport's Out of Hours Team and joint responsibility for the First Response Team.
This is an exciting time to join Stockport. In June 2017 OFSTED observed Stockport to delivering highly effective support and services to children and families. They saw:-
"Out-of-hours services are of a high quality and include visits as part of child protection planning arrangements. "
"Good social work practice is now in place across all children's services in Stockport, with some examples of outstanding practice".
'Staff are enthusiastic about their work and are highly committed.'

Following on from the inspection Stockport were invited to bid to become a DfE Partner in Practice and we were delighted to be awarded this status in March 2018.

Stockport Family is committed to working in an integrated way underpinned by restorative approaches.  You will be passionate about relationship based social work, and able to reflect and think creatively about how you can build relationships to make a difference with children, adults, families and communities. 
 

Our relentless focus is on practice and outcomes for children, adults and families and you will play an important part in delivering outstanding practice and ensuring that children, adults and families are at the heart of all decision making and service delivery.
 

You will receive regular supervision, access to training and development opportunities and work in a supportive culture where we are ambitious about delivering excellent social work practice and supporting you to be the very best you can be..
