Year 5 Main Scale Teacher – Full Time Temporary Maternity Cover

The governors invite applications from suitably qualified teachers for the post of Class Teacher in Year 5. The post is initially for three terms but may be extended if appropriate.
NQTs are warmly invited to apply. There will be full support available throughout the year.

Salary Range: Main Scale
Start date: 12th April 2021

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching children in Key Stage 2
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the standards required of children at the end of Key Stage 2
• Provide evidence of very good classroom practice
• Have children’s learning and development at the heart of their philosophy
• Show commitment to and an understanding of raising attainment in all children
• Understand the importance of and be committed to Assessment for Learning and high quality feedback to ensure that children make rapid progress
• Have excellent and innovative ICT skills and know how to use technology to enhance children’s learning
• Be empathetic with the ethos of a Church of England school
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, hardworking with a sense of fun
