Stockport Council has an exciting opportunity available as a School Admissions and Transport Officer within the School Places, Admissions and Transport Team. 

Our small yet hard working team are looking for someone new to join them. Our team is responsible for the planning of sufficient school places, school admissions/appeals and school transport. We are constantly looking for new and better ways to work, improving the service we provide to our residents. We are precise, honest, fair, and value the relationships we have with schools, our colleagues and each other. 

In this role you will be play a key part in supporting the School Admissions and Transport function, working to ensure the children of Stockport have access to education, and we offer a fair and sustainable school transport service.
You will be a hardworking, flexible individual with strong organisational skills. You must be a resilient, and quick thinking as well as being a good communicator.

The work calendar is cyclic in nature. Restrictions will be placed on leave during busy periods.
