Civil Enforcement Officer


Scale 3: £18.795 to £19,171 (plus enhancement for unsociable hours)

37 hours per week working five days between the hours of 7:00am to 11:00pm Mon-Sun. Four weekly rota, including weekends.

Bank Holiday working will be paid as overtime


Our Council has responsibility for enforcing both on and off street parking restrictions within the Stockport. We are looking for a conscientious person to join our team of Civil Enforcement Officers.

You will be working in all weathers patrolling all parking restrictions throughout Stockport, issuing tickets where contraventions have taken place as well as covering other duties such as checking pay and display equipment.

You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills to be able to deal with the public, sometimes in difficult situations.

Previous enforcement experience is essential. Full training will be provided in the use of the hand held computers. 
Employment with the Council will also be subject to enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
