2-year fixed term contract

This is a challenging and varied post.  We are looking for a strong team player with the following skills and experiences:

·         Excellent organisational skills with the ability and experience to support projects and teams in achieving objectives

·         Ability to work flexibly, both within a team and independently

·         Experience of analysing data, problem solving and interpreting information

·         Strong communication skills, including oral, written, numerical and ICT

·         Ability to provide professional, high quality administrative and procedural support

 

Based at First House in Brinnington and Stockport Town Hall, the post holder will have the opportunity to develop the duties attached to the post as well as:

·         Supporting colleagues in delivering a range of projects and activities

·         Developing and maintain networks, systems and processes to ensure the effective administration of the team

·         Raising orders, invoices and inter-departmental transfers as required, ensuring attention to accuracy both on financial computer systems and on any supporting paperwork.

·         Sharing office duties with colleagues

·         Resolving non-routine problems in a thorough and timely manner

·         Making decisions based upon specific instructions, standard practices and procedures

·         Exercising confidentiality of personal and sensitive information
