Stockport Events was established in 2017 and manage a portfolio of impressive Venues across Stockport. The business is growing and gaining a great reputation (Best Wedding Venue in the North West) and we deliver a wide range of exciting, high profile events.
We are looking for a self-motivated, results driven individual who excels in customer service. You will be friendly but professional and will have extensive experience within the hospitality industry.
Working at a variety of Venues including; Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall, Chadkirk Chapel and Fred Perry House; you will have experience of the operational management of Events within the Hospitality industry, including supervising and managing a team.
You will play a key role in our sales and coordination team and have experience of proactive/reactive sales and organising events such as weddings, conferences, funerals, award ceremonies, concerts, exhibitions.
Close attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines, under pressure with a calm and positive approach to problem solving is essential.
The role is not solely office based, you will work operationally delivering your events and providing Duty Management cover.
You will work to a rota working 5 days out of 7 including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and late finishes after the hours of midnight.
