Great Moor Junior School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Learning/Behaviour Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and forward thinking school. 

 

The successful candidate will work closely alongside our staff team providing learning support and behaviour management to individual children within an inclusive environment.

 

This is a fixed term post until 31 August 2017 initially.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is creative and has a passion for working with children with special educational needs/behavioural difficulties
  • Is confident in delivering a firm but fair approach
  • Is empathetic, patient and uses their initiative when working with children
  • Is flexible and has experience of working with KS2 children.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Is able to support teaching and learning in PE
