Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Hours of Post: 15.75 hours per week, Term Time only, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Fixed Term until pupil leaves school.

Start Date of Post: As soon as possible

Salary Grade: NJC Scale 3, Points 5 to 6 (£19,312 to £19,698 FTE) (pro rata)

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to support and deliver individual one to one support out of the classroom as well as in-class learning support to a Year 3 child working in Key Stage 1.  The role will be temporary whilst the pupil attends Vernon Park Primary School.  An awareness of child development, Downs Syndrome and communication needs for a child with specific special educational needs, as well as experience of delivering interventions eg individual therapy plans is desirable.  Excellent punctuality and good attendance are essential qualities for the successful applicant.

 

The post is for:

15.75 hours per week

 

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:45am to 11:45am

Friday 8am to 11:45am
