Join Stockport Council at this exciting time to become part of a new Estate and Asset Management Team.  We are looking for excellent team players and creative thinkers to drive the development of the Councils estate.

We have a large visionary programme of capital developments across the borough covering our School Estate and we are leading the way in public sector innovation in advanced construction models. 

As a School Estate Capital Programme Manager you will lead the implementation of a range of capital project works delivering new build, refurbishment and extension schemes. You will work alongside an internal team of Surveyors, Asset Managers, Facilities Managers, Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors and Project Managers. 

You will have a demonstrable track record and technical expertise in project management, procurement and delivery of commercially viable schemes.  Furthermore, you will have a successful track record in delivery within major programme management. You will have strong partnership skills and be able to develop strong networks in order to ensure timely project delivery.
